What I treasured about Venus is that I was kept informed and up to date every step of the way in their projects.  Deadlines were clearly laid out; contacts were provided, personal concerns were addressed and addressed quickly.  If I asked for something in terms of information or artistic input, I got it as soon as it was possible. I also got honesty.  Anybody can talk the talk, the mark of a real theatre is walking the walk.  Clean the toilets, send out press releases on time, make everybody pull their weight, pay the bills, treat people fairly and equally, meet deadlines, those are the marks of real theatres.  Venus measures up.  They deserve your attention. -Judy Montague
